Where the pavement ends…
…And the West begins
Our Story

To get the true flavor of the Tumbleweed Hotel …. you need to get a glimpse of Cave Creek history.
Cave Creek began with the discovery of gold in the area. When gold was discovered the cattleman arrived. The sound of hooves and cowboys echoed throughout the nights. Cave Creek grew independently from Phoenix to the south and even Carefree to the east.
Today the Tumbleweed Hotel is the original hospitality on this 2 mile stretch of Cave Creek. As some surrounding neighbors have succumb to trends … not at the Tumbleweed Hotel. Innkeepers, the Rust Family, have worked hard to maintain the our western heritage.
Tumbleweed Hotel has been referred to as a “Fashionable revival or what was cool about the West”. A western place you go to stay if you are truly worthy of a conversation with John Wayne or past hotel guests, such as Dick Van Dyke or Waylon Jennings.
16 impeccably decorated rooms and 8 Casitas, where no line was crossed to detract from our Western culture and commitment to remaining The Tumbleweed Hotel.
